Computer Controlled Automated Blast Cabinets

When blasting by hand cannot keep pace with production demand, companies turn to automated blasting. Designed and engineered for high production, automated blasting solutions address the needs of industry when there are large numbers of the same or similar parts.

Numerous part handling technologies exist and are matched to the specific part. Small, durable parts can be tumble blasted. Larger or complex parts can be processed to blast a small area, usually through masking, or the entire exterior or interior of the part can be covered using horizontal and vertical oscillation. Parts can travel through the blast cabinet on a belt conveyor or be placed on an indexing turntable and spun on a fixture.

Systems can be semi-automated with manual loading and unloading or fully-automated with pick-and-place robotics. Systems can be run with programmable logic controllers. Design and configuration will depend upon the parts to be processed, plant layout, production capacity, and budget.

The basic BNP A-200 comes with six rotating satellites in a four-feet by four-feet by five-feet tall cabinet.
